What I collect
When you add prices, I collect your country and city or region, the store type, the date of purchase, the foods you list with their pack price and pack size, and the time you submit. I do not ask for your name, email address or an account.
Your consent
Nothing is sent unless you tick the box to agree that your prices can be shared anonymously in the local average once they are reviewed.
How I use your prices
Your prices are saved as pending. I review them and may reject prices that look wrong. Approved prices are combined with other approved prices for the same food and location, and only the combined median appears on the site. A location's prices appear once it has 5 approved submissions. Single submissions are never shown on the site.
Where your prices are kept
The form sends your prices to a Google Apps Script web app, which saves them in a Google Sheet kept by me. Google provides this service, so Google's privacy policy also applies to how it handles the request. The sheet does not record your IP address.
What stays in your browser
Your choice of kg or lb and a copy of the latest prices (kept for up to an hour) are saved in your browser's local storage, so the site remembers your choice and loads faster. They are not sent to me. The site does not use cookies.
Visit counts
I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies or track you across other sites.
Other services
Fonts are served from this site, so your browser does not contact a font service. Prices are loaded from the Google Apps Script web app described above.
Removing a submission
Because I do not collect names or email addresses, I cannot tell which submission is yours. If you want one removed, email me the date, location and foods, and I will remove the matching rows.
